• Place the unit on a flat, dry and stable surface.
• Clean and dry the knife before sharpening.
• Use the coarse stage only for noticeably dull edges.
• Draw the blade smoothly from heel to tip using light pressure.
• Alternate evenly between both sides of the blade.
• Use a limited number of passes and inspect the edge regularly.
• Switch off and unplug the unit before cleaning or storage.
• Remove residue with a soft, dry brush or cloth.
• Do not immerse the unit in water.
• Confirm compatibility before sharpening specialty blades.
